I (Keith's sister) want to share some words from Keith's high intern pastor. He was with Keith the entire time at JAMA and he wrote the following email to me. It brought so much encouragement to me that I had to share it with all those praying for him.
"Keith's testimony set the tone for the whole conference. The conference theme was treasuring Christ. All four days people were coming up to Keith, shaking his hand, saying how encouraged they were, thanking him for his testimony, one church asked Keith to speak at their retreat, other churches asked for copies of the video, one jr high student asked for Keith's autograph and me and Keith just laughed. I was with Keith the whole conference, and many times I would walk behind him and watch people as they saw Keith and they would smile. Keith was literally a walking testimony. I did notice a difference in Keith also at the conference, he was walking faster/stronger than ever, and during the praise time I could hear him singing, usually during the High School service I can't hear him singing. I shared with the youth group today that I think we, as a youth group, are on the edge of something big happening, I don't know what is going to happen, but it just feels like when Keith comes back fully, something big is going to happen."
And yes, Keith has welcomed the invitation to speak at a youth retreat in Dallas, TX at the end of July. Please pray for him as he prepares to speak and as he'll be traveling alone. He is so brave and fearless.!!!
