Thank you for all your prayers

Thanks to all your prayers I am doing well. My right eye is swollen, so I can not open it yet. When I try to open it I can see from it. It is going to take some time to get adjusted seeing with both eyes. I went to get my hair washed today. Dude, I sound like a girl. Since I can not get my eye wet I went to Hair Salon just to get hair washed. I will be staying home and just chill like before. Thank you for all your prayer.

Successful surgery

(this is Sandy, writing for Keith)
The surgery has been successful and Keith is on his way from UCLA to get rest at home. He thanks everyone who has prayed for him today. Let's continue to pray for quick recovery. He will need to wait some time to open his eye to discover the result of the surgery. Praise God who continues to watch over him!

"I will exalt you O Lord
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
O Lord my God, I called to you for help
and you healed me.
O Lord, you brought me up from the grave,
you spared me from going down into the pit
Sing to the Lord, you saints of his;
praise His holy name.
For His anger lasts only a moment,
but His favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning."
Psalm 30:1-5

Night before the surgery

In few hours I will be leaving home to go to UCLA for my eye surgery. I am still confident that God will heal me but if He does not then He will use the Doctor to perform the surgery well. I have nothing to lose. Please continue to pray for me. I am encouraged because I know there are many people praying. I am excited to see what God will do. I will not update for a while. I will tell my sister to do it. After I recover from the surgery, let's go eat some chicken.

Where is my focus upon?

Yesterday, I saw the surgeon who will perform the surgery next week. There was not any signifcant changes to my eye. So I will go through with the surgery. But I am still praying that God will heal. Today, I was thinking where my focus is. There are so many different things I am thinking about. I was reminded that everything will be fine as long as I focus on Christ. I am not worried nor anxious about the future. I will simply pray for God's glory to be shown.

Valentine's Day is soon

I thought by the age I am at, I should be married with kids. At least, that was my plan. However, God had a different plan. I like His plan lot better. I remember celebrating Valetine's last year in the hospital. God has really allowed me to get better each day. I will one day sit with my wife and kids thanking the Lord for all that He has provided. Enjoy your day in the fact that you are in Christ. No one can take that away from you. Tell someone you love them today before it is too late. I love you all who are still reading this.

Korea Vs. LA Galaxy

I went to a soccer match with Korea National team against LA Galaxy. Korea won 3-0. Overall, the game was pretty exciting. One of my college friend got two tickets and we were able to go. I took my handicapped parking. We got a space near to the entrance of the stadium and we were able to leave right away. While watching the game with one eye. I could feel the person next to me watching me because I had my right eye closed. I am still getting used to people staring at me. I will have surgery on 2/21. Please continue to pray for me.

I am driving more...

These days I am driving lot more than I was a month ago. I went to Chiropractic in LA and came back safely. I ate Tommy's cheeseburger with chili fries. They were good. I realize that slowly but surely I am doing lot more than before. Year ago I was lying in the hospital bed wondering when I will leave this place. Even though I was not aware of what was going to take place. God knew it very well. I went to Yellowstone, Dallas twice, summer retreat, winter retreat, Michigan to speak at a winter retreat and to churches to share my testimony. I am just thankful these days. I am reading a lot of books these days. I believe God is preparing me for lots of work ahead of me. He knew that I needed this time to get ready. Praise God.
